This SOSS 218 Series Invisible Hinge is designed for concealed installation in wood or metal doors, providing a flush, seamless appearance when the door is closed. Constructed from high-strength plated steel and heavy-duty zinc alloy castings with durable nylon links, it ensures dependable operation. The hinge opens a full 180 degrees and is suitable for doors with a minimum thickness of 1-3/4 inches, accommodating applications up to 2 inches thick. It features a Bright Chrome (US26) finish and is UL Listed with a 20-minute fire rating for use on hollow metal, sheet metal, tin clad, steel composite, or wood core swinging-type fire doors. The riveted hinge pin is non-removable for enhanced security. Wood and machine screws are included for installation. This is a SOSS Model #218 hinge, identified by SKU 218US26.
