Product Overview
This Don Jo PLP-211-626 Latch Protector is designed for outswing doors to prevent forced entry by safeguarding the latch bolt and deterring the spreading of the door from its frame. Constructed from heavy-duty 12 gauge (.104") steel, it features a solid anti-spread pin (0.313" x 0.500") that is welded on the back, leaving no visible point of attack from the exterior. The protector measures 3" wide by 11" high and includes an extra-large cutout to accommodate rose sizes up to 3-1/2". It is compatible with doors having 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" backsets. The unit is finished in Dull Chrome Plated (US26D/626) and is typically secured with carriage bolts, washers, and acorn nuts for enhanced security.
