This LCN 4040XP-3049 Hold Open Arm in Bright Chrome (US26 finish) is an accessory designed for LCN 4040XP Series heavy-duty surface-mounted door closers. It provides a hold-open function, allowing a door to remain open at a desired position, and features an adjustable hold-open shoe. The arm is non-handed, making it suitable for both left and right-handed doors. It is constructed from durable materials, typically forged steel, to withstand the rigors of demanding, high-traffic applications. The arm can be mounted for pull side or top jamb installations with a shallow reveal. LCN 4040XP series door closers, with which this arm is compatible, are ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 rated and UL listed for self-closing doors without hold-open.
