The 5017 deadlock/deadlatch for wood doors is a storefront lock designed for wood and sliding doors. constructed from stainless steel, this 5017 series deadlock/deadlatch features a three-ply laminated stainless steel deadbolt. the case measures 1/2" x 4" x 1-19/32" deep, and the lock face measures 5/8" x 4-1/2" with radiused ends. the backset is 1-3/16" (1-1/4" including the faceplate). this lock is designed to retract the bolt upon contact with the jamb. it is compatible with doors ranging from 5/6" to 2-1/4" in thickness when using the 1015 turn with a 1016 blank plate, or 1-7/16" to 2" thickness when used with a cylinder pull. the unit includes a faceplate and is finished in satin stainless steel. optional components such as the 4026 cylinder pull, which features a five pin tumbler cylinder in a zinc alloy housing, and the 4810 box strike with wood screws are available separately. this lock is part of the 5017 series and is manufactured under the assa abloy parent company, providing a functional deadlocking and deadlatching mechanism for various door hardware setups.
