Product Overview
The Airex Mfg. E-Flex Guard (model 750C-B) is an HVAC line set and outdoor pipe insulation protector, constructed from engineered PVC material. It is designed to shield refrigerant piping and its insulation from environmental factors such as solar radiation, ice, and fire. This protector functions as a Class II Vapor Retarder (ASTM E96), allowing moisture to escape while maintaining external waterproofing, thereby preventing moisture damage and corrosion. It features outdoor UV/weather grade resistant construction (ASTM G153), is fire-rated (ASTM E84/UL 723 Flame & Smoke Rating 25/450), and is anti-microbial/anti-fungal (ASTM G21). Installation is quick and secure with a dual-bonded hook and loop fastening system, reinforced by UV-resistant nylon cable ties. Its removable and reusable design facilitates maintenance. This 75-foot black roll is specifically designed to fit 3/4 inch wall thickness pipe insulation. It complies with IECC energy codes (2012, 2015, 2018, 2021).
