Product Overview
The Airex Manufacturing E-Flex Guard (model 750E-B) is an HVAC line set and outdoor pipe insulation protector designed to shield insulation from UV radiation, weather, fire, and mechanical damage, thus extending its lifespan and maintaining system efficiency. Constructed from engineered PVC flexible material, this 75-foot mega roll is suitable for 1/2 inch wall thickness pipe insulation. It functions as a Class II Vapor Retarder and features a self-gripping, dual-bonded hook and loop fastening system for removable and reusable installation, complemented by UV-resistant nylon cable ties for long-term security. The protector is UV/weather grade resistant, fire-rated, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal. It complies with IECC energy codes (2012, 2015, 2018, 2021) and meets ASTM G153 for weatherization and UV exposure, ASTM E96 for water vapor permeability, ASTM G21 for anti-fungal/antimicrobial properties, and ASTM E84/UL 723 for flame and smoke rating (25/450).
