Product Overview
This Airex Mfg. AIREX E-FLEX GUARD (mfr code: 750X-B) is an HVAC line set and outdoor pipe insulation protector. Constructed from a proprietary flexible PVC vinyl, it functions as a Class II Vapor Retarder to prevent moisture damage and corrosion, extending the lifespan of outdoor line-sets and insulation. It is UV/weather resistant (ASTM G153), fire-rated with an ASTM E84/UL 723 flame and smoke rating of 25/450, and anti-microbial/fungal (ASTM G21). The protector features a dual-bonded hook and loop fastening system for quick, removable, and reusable installation, secured further by included UV-resistant nylon cable ties. This 75-foot mega roll is designed for 1-inch wall thickness pipe insulation. It complies with various energy codes, including 2012, 2015, 2018, and 2021 IECC, and meets ASTM E96 for water vapor permeability. Made in the USA.
