The Antique Bronze Cologne 044 Series Wall Mount Offset Back Plate Hinge is a wall-mounted hinge designed for supporting glass shower doors. Constructed from solid brass with an antique bronze finish, this hinge features beveled edges and radius corners. It is suitable for 3/8" to 1/2" tempered safety glass. The hinge provides a 90-degree swing in and 90-degree swing out, with a self-centering mechanism that engages when within 15 degrees of the closed position. It includes a reversible pivot pin, with the 90-degree side activated by default, and an 85-degree option available for tighter closure. When using two hinges with 3/8" glass, the maximum door weight capacity is 100 lbs with a maximum door width of 34". With 1/2" glass, two hinges support up to 100 lbs and a maximum door width of 32". Using three hinges increases the capacity to 130 lbs for both glass thicknesses, maintaining the same maximum door widths. The hinge requires a specific cut-out and includes gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions for installation. The maximum clamping screw torque is 60 lbf.in.
