The ASP-FA200, also known as FA-200, is a Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) indicating shunt pushbutton switch manufactured by ASP Alarm Control. This switch controls two independent electrical circuits, providing two possible output states for each pole. Primarily designed for alternate action (latching) operation, it can also be converted for momentary functionality. It features an integrated indicator that changes from black to orange when depressed, signaling its active status. Electrical contacts are rated for 2A at 28V DC, with some specifications indicating suitability up to 35V DC. Designed for flush panel mounting, it fits into a 9/16" diameter hole and connects via solder terminals. The switch includes a black plastic dress nut and lock nut for installation. It is commonly used in security applications such as alarm systems, egress control, and zone shunting.
