A shower door that leaks, drags or rattles almost often needs fixing - not a replacement. It needs one part, and the reason the repair stalls is that the part is specified by measurements nobody wrote down when the door went in: panel thickness, door gap, hinge series number, handle bore spacing. Order without those and the part arrives, installs, and fails the same way.
This category is the glass-side repair range: seals and wipes, hinge components, pull handles, panel clamps, jamb guides, thresholds, gaskets, mounting screws and splash guards. Work the symptom back to the component in the first table, confirm the measurements in the second, then order. Looking for faucet, valve or drain internals instead? Those sit outside this category and there's a route to them below. For the wider range, check our bathroom hardware category.
Almost every wrong part in this category traces to a measurement that was estimated instead of taken.
When the hinge series number is worn off or unreadable, order a complete replacement hinge rather than guessing at individual components. It costs more than a pivot pin and less than a second failed repair.
Selection here is by measured dimension or series number. Door brand name is not a usable specification for any part on this page.
Both mount the same way and both are ordered by bore diameter and mounting distance. The difference is mass at the set screw connection.
Tubular handles have a hollow profile and are the standard fit on residential frameless doors. Solid handles are heavier and specified for commercial doors and high-cycle residential use, where the extra mass reduces movement at the set screw over years of daily pulls. If the handle you're replacing sheared or worked loose on a door that gets heavy use, the solid profile is the upgrade worth making while the door is already apart.
Two measurements decide it: panel thickness and the door gap between the glass edge and the adjacent wall, fixed panel or threshold. Thickness alone isn't enough, because two doors of the same thickness can have very different gaps. Measure both on the installed door before selecting a profile.
Individual components are available when the hinge series number is readable on the hinge body. When it isn't, order a complete replacement hinge. Parts across different series aren't interchangeable even when they look identical, and a component that installs but doesn't hold alignment costs another service call.
Tubular handles have a hollow profile and are the residential standard. Solid handles are heavier and used on commercial doors and high-cycle residential applications, where added mass reduces wear at the set screw. Both are sized by bore diameter and center-to-center mounting distance, so either can replace the other if those two figures match.
It's a mounting problem, not a glass problem. Wall brackets work loose when the anchor doesn't suit the substrate behind the tile, and no-drill clamps lose grip when the wall isn't flat and plumb. Clamp gaskets also compress flat over time and cost about a dollar to replace, check the gasket before assuming the bracket has failed.
By the height of the tub or shower opening, not by door width. A guard shorter than the opening leaves a gap at the top where water escapes under normal shower pressure. Measure the opening height before ordering.
Thresholds ship as stock lengths, 36" and 95", in half-round and tapered profiles, and are cut down to the opening on site. Measure the full span and order a length that covers it in one piece. Joining two pieces mid-run leaves a seam that water finds.
Parts here are selected by measurement and series number rather than by door manufacturer. Take the four measurements above and the correct component follows, whatever the badge on the door says. If you're unsure, the support team can work through the specs with you before you order.
Repair parts are only worth ordering if the same part is still available when the next one fails. These are the lines carried across DK Hardware:
Repair work runs on getting the right part the first time, so we lead with the part that prevents a second trip.
DK Hardware stocks CRL shower door seals, hinge replacement parts, pull handles, panel brackets, jamb guides, and SPRAYMAID splash guards for commercial and residential repair across the US. Browse the full bathtub repair parts range to filter by component type and glass specification. The part that fails twice is almost always the part that was ordered from a photograph. Take the four measurements off the installed door, note the series number while you're there, and the right component is a filter away.
