The Bell Link CL-HL-150 is a ceramic heat lamp designed to provide radiant infrared heat without emitting visible light. It features a standard E26 medium screw base, commonly used in North America with a 26mm diameter. Constructed from solid ceramic, this 150-watt heat emitter is more durable than traditional glass bulbs and is often used in animal enclosures for reptiles, amphibians, and chicks, as well as for food warming applications. The ceramic body, often with an internal Ni-Cr-Alloy resistance wire, ensures efficient and even heat distribution, making it suitable for 24-hour heat sources that do not disturb nocturnal animals' sleep cycles. This type of heat lamp has a long operational lifespan, typically ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 hours. Proper use requires a suitable ceramic lamp holder, as the surface becomes very hot during operation.
