The Brushed Bronze Vienna 044 Series Wall Mount Offset Back Plate Hinge is designed for mounting shower doors to walls. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge is suitable for 3/8" to 1/2" tempered safety glass. It features a self-centering mechanism that engages when the door is within 15 degrees of the closed position. The hinge allows for a 90-degree swing in and out. It includes a reversible pivot pin, with the 90-degree side activated by default, and an 85-degree option for a tighter closure. When using two hinges with 3/8" glass, the maximum door weight is 100 lbs and the maximum width is 34". With 1/2" glass, two hinges support up to 100 lbs and a 32" width. Using three hinges increases the capacity to 130 lbs for both glass thicknesses. The hinge requires a specific cut-out and includes gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions. The maximum clamping screw torque is 60 lbf.in. This hinge is finished in brushed bronze.
