The Brushed Nickel Cardiff Series Top or Bottom Mount Hinge is a pivot-style hinge designed for use with 5/16" to 3/8" tempered safety glass in shower enclosures. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge is suitable for corner, niche, and custom shower configurations. The top and bottom mount design allows for a minimalist aesthetic by reducing the number of glass cut-outs required compared to standard side-mount hinges. This hinge can be mounted to the floor and ceiling or floor and header, and it is compatible with the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not reach the ceiling. The Cardiff Series features a self-centering mechanism that engages when the door is within 15 degrees of the closed position, utilizing four internal springs for retention. The hinge allows for full rotation and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections. When using two hinges, the system supports a maximum door weight of 100 lbs and a maximum door width of 31". The hinge includes gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions for installation. The brushed nickel finish provides a neutral appearance for bathroom hardware.
