This Cologne 037 Series wall mount hinge features an H back plate design and is intended for use with monolithic tempered glass ranging from 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch thick. Constructed from solid brass, the hinge is designed to support wider and heavier shower doors compared to traditional hinge models. The brushed nickel finish provides a coordinated appearance suitable for contemporary shower enclosures. The hinge incorporates a reversible 5 degree pivot pin, with one side set for 90 degree and the opposite side set for 85 degree closing. The pivot pin can be rotated to achieve the desired closing position, allowing a tighter closure into the shower interior when required. The hinge swings 90 degrees inward and 90 degrees outward and is self-centering when within 15 degrees of the closed position. Two internal steel pins provide mounting flexibility and template options for different cut-out styles. When using two hinges, the system supports doors up to 110 pounds with a maximum width of 36 inches. When using three hinges, it supports up to 140 pounds with the same maximum width. Gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions are included for installation.
