Product Overview
The Brushed Nickel Cologne 044 Series Wall Mount Offset Back Plate Hinge is designed for mounting shower doors to walls. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge features beveled edges and radius corners for a clean appearance. It is suitable for 3/8" to 1/2" tempered safety glass. The hinge allows for 90-degree inward and outward swings and includes a self-centering mechanism that engages within 15 degrees of the closed position. It features a reversible pivot pin, with the 90-degree side activated by default, and an 85-degree option for tighter closure. When using two hinges with 3/8" glass, the maximum door weight capacity is 100 lbs with a maximum width of 34". With 1/2" glass, two hinges support up to 100 lbs with a maximum width of 32". Using three hinges increases the capacity to 130 lbs for both glass thicknesses, maintaining the same width limits. The hinge requires a specific cut-out and includes gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions. The maximum clamping screw torque is 60 lbf.in. This hinge is intended for residential or hotel shower enclosures.
