Product Overview
The CRL Sausalito Series Shower Door Hinge features precision machined stainless steel components with dual precision wound stainless steel return springs. The sleek clean lines of these oversized, forged solid brass hinges will add an optimal sense of style to any contemporary installation. The large surface area provides superior support for glass mounting. It is self-closing from 25º to self centering 0º return. (5º positive closure and 45º configurations available) Matched finish stainless steel Allen style clamp screws with an Allen wrench is included. Wall mount hinges include matched finish stainless steel mounting screws. Conservatively rated at 50 pounds per hinge.
Using two hinges with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 pounds (45 kg) with a maximum width of 30" (762 mm).
Using three hinges with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 150 pounds (68 kg) with a maximum width of 36" (914 mm). Important Notes: CRL Shower Door Hinges are designed for residential or hotel shower use.
