Product Overview
The Bussmann SC-30 is a Class G time-delay midget fuse designed for overcurrent protection in branch-circuit applications. It features a melamine tube construction, specifically G9 glass-cloth reinforced melamine laminate, providing strong dielectric behavior, arc extinguishing properties, and thermal stability. The fuse is equipped with nickel-plated brass end caps. This 30 Amp fuse has a voltage rating of 480 VAC and 300 VDC, with an interrupting rating of 100 kAIC at 480 VAC and 10 kAIC at 300 VDC. Its physical dimensions are approximately 0.41 inches in diameter and 1.62 inches in length. It is a current-limiting, rejection-style fuse that prevents overfusing due to varying lengths for different ampere ratings. The SC-30 fuse is UL Listed under Standard 248-5, CSA Certified under C22.2 No. 248.5, CE compliant, and RoHS compliant.
