Product Overview
This square pivoting glass-to-glass operable transom clip is used to join a transom to a sidelite at a 135 degree corner while allowing the transom panel to operate. The clip body is solid forged brass in Brushed Pewter finish with a square edge profile to suit minimal sight lines. Overall clip height is 2". On the door-transom side, the backplate width is 1-7/8" and the faceplate width is 2". On the sidelite side, the backplate width is 2" and the faceplate width is 2-5/8". The gap between the two sides is 3/16" to accommodate the pivoting path. Screw hole to edge distance is 1-7/16" on the sidelite side and 7/8" on the transom side; the screw hole diameter is 3/4". Matching-finish stainless steel hex style clamping screws are supplied for a coordinated appearance at the joint. Glass fabrication is required to prepare cutouts and holes prior to fitting. Typical uses include operable transoms above doors in frameless shower enclosures and interior glass partitions where a square, compact connector is preferred for clean transitions at the corner.
