Product Overview
This Campbell (MPN T7670419, 52071) wire rope clip is designed for securing the end of a wire rope to form a loop or prevent fraying. Constructed from malleable iron with an electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) finish, it provides corrosion resistance for general-purpose applications. It is suitable for 3/32" to 1/8" diameter wire ropes and meets US Federal Specification FF-C-450 D, Type 1, Class 2 standards. Ideal for light-duty, non-critical applications such as guard lines, fencing, animal runs, and general lashing or rigging, this clip provides up to 80-90% of the wire rope's breaking strength. It is not intended for overhead lifting. For use with coated cables, the coating must be removed from the assembly area.
