The Cantex 5133164U is a molded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) junction box, measuring 8 x 8 x 6 inches, designed to support electrical devices and fixtures while protecting wire splices and terminals. This gray enclosure is suitable for surface mounting, concrete encasement, or burial, though watertight integrity is not warranted for all circumstances. It features a fully gasketed PVC cover with zinc-plated steel screws for a secure seal. The box is UL Listed and UL Marine Listed, meeting NEMA ratings for types 1, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 5, 6, and 6P, indicating high protection against environmental elements including corrosion. Conduit entrances require custom-cut round holes, secured with male or box adapters. It offers a 365 cubic inch capacity and has a UL94V-0 flame rating.
