The Cantex 5133697U PVC Electrical Service Entrance Cap is designed to protect service entrance conductors and associated wiring from external damage, water, debris, and animals as overhead wiring enters a building. Also known as a weatherhead, this nonmetallic and non-conductive cap is made from PVC, offering resistance to corrosion, abrasion, oil, water, and acid. It is intended for use with 3 inch Schedule 40 or 80 nonmetallic solvent weld conduit and fittings, including rigid non-metallic (RNC) conduit. The cap is UL Listed and CSA Approved, ensuring compliance with safety standards for electrical installations.
