Product Overview
The Cantex 5140045U PVC Female Adapter is an electrical conduit fitting designed for connecting electrical conduit systems. Constructed from PVC, this adapter facilitates the transition from threaded metal conduit to PVC conduit, and can also be used to join two sections of PVC conduit. It features two female ends; one is threaded for connection to male-threaded components, and the other is a solvent weld (socket) end for secure chemical bonding with PVC pipe. This 1-inch nominal trade size adapter is compatible with Schedule 40 and 80 PVC conduit, and is also suitable for EB and DB duct applications. It is UL Listed (UL 651), CSA approved, and complies with NEMA TC-3 standards, ensuring safety and performance in electrical installations. Approximate dimensions are 1.6 inches width by 1.875 inches length.
