Product Overview
The DeWalt DXEC14412050 is a 50-foot, 12-gauge, 3-conductor (12/3 AWG) SJTW extension cord, designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a weather-resistant thermoplastic (PVC) jacket that maintains flexibility in temperatures as low as -58°F (-50°C) and is flame retardant. The cord is rated for 15 Amps, 125 Volts, and 1875 Watts. Each conductor contains 64 strands of 30 AWG 100% copper wire for optimal conductivity. Equipped with a patented locking female connector, it prevents accidental disconnections from standard U-Ground male plugs with an 80 lb. pull resistance. The cord includes an amber LED in the male plug to indicate power and a green LED in the female connector for Continuous Ground Monitoring (CGM) to confirm ground continuity. Its industrial-grade contacts feature nickel-coated blades and pins for heat and corrosion resistance, complemented by oversized strain reliefs and pre-molds to enhance durability.
