Product Overview
This residential-grade single-pole toggle switch, Eaton model 1301-7B, operates at 15 amps and 120 volts. Constructed with a polycarbonate body and a galvanized steel mounting strap, it features an industrial design cam action mechanism for quiet operation. The longer, wider mounting strap enhances contact with the wallboard, reducing floating installations. Wiring flexibility is provided by push-in terminals, which accept #14 AWG solid wire, and side wire terminals accommodating up to #10 AWG solid or stranded wire. Installation is aided by built-in wire strippers for #12 and #14 AWG wire and a wire looper. Terminal screws are combination slot/Phillips and Robertson-head for ease of use. This brown switch is UL Listed and meets UL 20 requirements, ensuring compliance and safety for general-use snap switches.
