Product Overview
The Eaton 78V-BOX is a residential-grade duplex receptacle designed to provide two outlets for connecting electrical devices. It features a 15 Amp, 125 Volt, NEMA 5-15R configuration with 2-pole, 3-wire grounding. The receptacle has an ivory thermoplastic body with brass contacts and is suitable for surface mounting. It supports both back and side wiring, with terminal screws backed out for ease of installation. It accepts #14-10 AWG wiring, and push-in terminals accommodate #14 solid wire, while side-wire terminals accept up to #10 solid or stranded wire. The impact-resistant thermoplastic construction helps prevent job site breakage, and a wider mounting strap enhances stability. This product is UL and NOM compliant and meets Federal Specification Classification 6233.01 and NEC Article 406.12. It also includes a built-in wire stripper/looper and double-wipe ground contacts.
