Product Overview
The Eaton BR20V is a commercial specification grade duplex receptacle engineered for reliable electrical power connectivity. This 2-pole, 3-wire grounding device is rated for 20 amps and 125 volts, featuring a NEMA 5-20R configuration. It is constructed with a high-impact nylon face and a zinc-plated, galvanized steel wrap-around mounting strap for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The receptacle accommodates #14, #12, and #10 AWG solid or stranded wire through both back and side wire terminals. It includes triple wipe line contacts for secure plug retention, double wipe ground contacts, an automatic grounding system that eliminates the need for a bonding jumper in grounded metal enclosures, and an easy-access split circuit break-off tab. The device is UL 498 Listed and meets Federal Specification WC-596.
