Glendale adjustable wall mount hinge is an adjustable wall mount hinge with a full back plate, constructed from brass with an HD stainless steel back plate and finished in brushed nickel. It is intended for residential bath and commercial hotel applications using monolithic tempered glass and accommodates glass thickness ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" (10mm to 12mm). For 3/8" glass, use one thick glazing gasket on each side, and for 1/2" glass, use one thin glazing gasket on each side. The hinge features a 135 degree hinge angle with a square profile and supports a maximum door weight of 80 lbs when using two hinges or 120 lbs when using three hinges, with a maximum door width of 28" using two hinges or 32" using three hinges. This adjustable hinge can accommodate angles up to 90 degrees and can be adjusted after the door is installed by loosening the two hex screws located on the interior of the hinge center block. The closing action is self-centering within 15 degree of the closed position. Back plate dimensions measure 3-1/2" in height by 2" in width, the overall hinge height is 3-1/2", and the hinge projection measures 2-3/16". A fabrication template is included for standard 3/16" (5mm) glass-to-wall clearance. Installation requires hand tightening only, and power tools must not be used to prevent damage to the hinge finish. For maintenance, if squeaking occurs, apply a few drops of multi-purpose oil at the nylon washer or pivot.
