Glendale adjustable wall mount hinge is an adjustable wall mounted hinge with a full back plate design, constructed from brass with an HD stainless steel back plate and finished in polished chrome. It is intended for residential bath and commercial hotel applications and supports monolithic tempered glass with thickness ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" (10mm to 12mm). For 3/8" glass, use one thick glazing gasket on each side, and for 1/2" glass, use one thin glazing gasket on each side. The hinge features a 135 degree hinge angle with an adjustable closing position and allows adjustment up to 90 degrees even after the door is installed. The closing action is self-centering within 15 degree of the closed position. A cutout is required for installation, and the package includes the hinge, glazing gaskets, wall mounting screws, cover plate screws, and a fabrication template designed for standard 3/16" (5mm) glass-to-wall clearance. The hinge has a square profile, with a back plate height of 3-1/2", back plate width of 2", overall hinge height of 3-1/2", inner depth of 7/16", and a hinge projection of 2-3/16". When installed with two hinges, the maximum supported door weight is 80 lbs with a maximum door width of 28", while three hinges support up to 120 lbs with a maximum door width of 32". Approximate glass weight is 5 lb for 3/8" glass and 6.4 lb for 1/2" glass. Installation requires clamping screws to be tightened by hand only, avoiding power tools, with re-tightening recommended after 10 minutes of operation to account for gasket compression and a target torque of 45 lb-in per screw. Maintenance involves wiping dry daily and cleaning with a soft damp cloth and mild liquid cleaner, and if squeaking occurs, applying a few drops of multi-purpose oil at the nylon washer or pivot while avoiding spray lubricants.
