The Glass to Wall Mount Shower Door Hinge in Polished Chrome With Brass Accents finish With H Back Plate is designed for frameless shower enclosures requiring reliable wall attachment and flexible door alignment. Constructed from solid forged brass with beveled edges and precision stainless steel internal components, this hinge combines strength and functionality for use in shower hardware, glass hardware, and door hardware applications. It features an adjustable mechanism that allows the closing position of the door to be aligned after installation. Using the included 3mm hex wrench, installers can loosen two screws, adjust the position up to 30 degree in or out, and re-tighten to lock the alignment. The hinge provides self-centering 0 degree return and self-closing from a 25 degree door angle, supported by dual precision wound stainless steel return springs. This hinge is compatible with 3/8" (10mm) and 1/2" (12mm) tempered glass, rated at 40 lbs per hinge. Two hinges support doors up to 80 lbs with a maximum width of 30", while three hinges support up to 120 lbs with a maximum width of 36". The hinge measures 3-9/16" in height, 2-3/16" in width, 1-15/16" in depth, and 5/32" in thickness. Thickness is 3/16" per side with a center gap of 1/8".
