Product Overview
The Glass to Header Mount Shower Door Pivot Hinge in Satin finish is designed for frameless shower enclosures where door panels connect to Elite Header systems. Made from solid forged brass with precision-machined stainless steel internal components, this hinge provides strength and long-term performance for shower hardware, door hardware, and glass hardware applications. It features dual precision wound stainless steel return springs that deliver self-centering 0 degree return and self-closing from a 25 degree door angle. A 5 degree positive closure option is available when required. The non-mouse ear design allows improved adjustment during installation and integration with Elite Header system frames. Compatible with 3/8" (10mm) and 1/2" (12mm) tempered glass, each hinge is rated at 40 lbs capacity. With two hinges, the system supports a maximum door weight of 120 lbs and a maximum door width of 36". For weight reference, 3/8" glass is 5.05 lbs/sf and 1/2" glass is 6.40 lbs/sf. Dimensional details include glass edge to hole spacing of 1-13/16", end to end hole spacing of 3-1/4", and a 3/8" cutout radius at each corner. The beveled edge profile ensures a smooth transition within the frameless hinge system. This hinge is non-adjustable and requires glass fabrication cutouts for installation.
