Designed for 3/8" (10mm) and 1/2" (12mm) tempered glass, the hinge requires fabrication cutouts for accurate fitting. Each hinge is rated at 40 lbs, with two hinges supporting shower doors up to 120 lbs and a maximum width of 36". For weight guidance, 3/8" glass panels weigh 5.05 lbs/sf and 1/2" glass panels weigh 6.40 lbs/sf.
