The Glass to Glass Mount Shower Door Hinge is designed for connecting two glass panels in a shower enclosure. This hinge mounts directly on glass, making it suitable for frameless glass shower doors. Made from solid forged brass with a polished chrome finish, the hinge blends well with bathroom hardware and shower fittings. The pins and springs inside are made from stainless steel, adding stability to the hinge movement. This glass hinge fits glazing thickness of 1/4" and 5/16" glass (6 and 8mm), which are common sizes in bathroom shower doors. The hinge has a total width of 4-1/16", a height of 2-13/16", and a plate thickness of 3/16" with a plate width of 2" (50mm) on both sides for secure glass mounting. These measurements allow the hinge to fit securely on glass panels. The hinge supports a 180-degree glass-to-glass angle, which means it is used when two glass panels meet in a straight line. It is designed with a self-centering feature, returning the door to a closed position at 0 degrees. It also includes a reversible 5-degree pin, which provides flexibility during installation.
