The pins and springs inside are made from stainless steel, adding stability to the hinge movement. This glass hinge fits glazing thickness of 1/4" and 5/16" (6 and 8mm) glass, which are common sizes in bathroom shower doors. The hinge has a total width of 4-1/16", a height of 2-13/16", and a plate thickness of 3/16" with a plate width of 2" (50mm) on both sides for secure glass mounting. These measurements allow the hinge to fit securely on glass panels. The hinge supports a 180-degree glass-to-glass angle, which means it is used when two glass panels meet in a straight line.
