Product Overview
The Glass to Wall Mount Shower Door Hinge with Full Back Plate is designed for mounting frameless shower doors to a wall surface. It connects the glass door securely to the wall while allowing the door to open and close smoothly. Made from solid forged brass with a Brushed Pewter finish, the hinge coordinates with bathroom hardware and other shower fittings. Inside, the hinge uses stainless steel pins and springs, which support the hinge function and movement. The hinge is suitable for glass thicknesses of 1/4" and 5/16"(6 and 8mm). It measures 2" in width, 2-13/16" in height, and has a back plate thickness of 3/16", width is 1-3/4" and height of 2-13/16", with hole spacing (vertical) of 2-1/8" and hole spacing (Horizontal) of 1-1/8". These measurements help with accurate fitting during installation. The hinge features a mouse ear design along with a self-centering function that returns the door to the closed position at 0 degrees. It also comes with a reversible 5-degree pin, giving flexibility to adjust the setup based on the shower enclosure needs. Glass fabrication required two holes. Rounded corners and a cambered face give the hinge a neat appearance while also supporting fitting and alignment. With 2 hinges, the hinge can support shower doors weighing up to 55 lbs and up to 32" wide. With 3 hinges, the capacity increases to 85 lbs and up to 36" wide. This makes it useful for a variety of shower door sizes. The hinge is supplied with stainless-steel hex clamping screws and wrench, making it ready to be installed as part of the bathroom hinge and shower hardware system.
