The Haydon 1004792 channel strut is constructed from 14 gauge low-carbon steel, providing light-duty structural support for electrical, mechanical, and general construction installations. This channel features a compact 13/16 inch depth and a standard 1-5/8 inch width, with a 10-foot length. It includes a half-slot configuration with 9/16 inch by 1-1/8 inch slots typically spaced 2 inches apart along the base, allowing for versatile attachment of industry-standard fittings and accessories. The strut is protected with an electro-galvanized (zinc-coated) finish, making it suitable for indoor and mildly corrosive environments. Haydon channel raceways are manufactured to comply with UL Standard for Safety for Strut-Type Channel Raceways and Fittings (UL 5B).
