Product Overview
The Hubbell-TayMac ML450Z is a single-gang flat expandable while-in-use cover designed to provide weatherproof protection for electrical outlets, even when a plug is inserted. Constructed from ultra-rugged polycarbonate and synthetic neoprene rubber, it resists dry rot, cracking, and deterioration from sunlight. The cover expands from 1 inch to 3 inches deep to accommodate various plug configurations and is suitable for both horizontal and vertical device mounts. It features a 100% paintable surface and a patented Quick-Fit keyhole mounting system for quick installation. This bronze cover includes an attached gasket and mounting hardware, is UL Listed, NEMA 3R rated for protection against rain, sleet, snow, and external ice formation, and complies with NEC 2014 Article 406.9(A). It also includes Universal Fit Adapter System Technology (U-Fast) for 16-in-1 custom device configurations, pre-configured for GFCI.
