Product Overview
The AMSEC FS1814E5 residential fire safe provides UL 1-Hour fire protection, meaning its interior will not exceed 350°F when exposed to external temperatures over 1700°F for at least one hour, suitable for protecting paper documents. It features a UL Type 1 ESL5LP electronic lock with an illuminated keypad, external 9-volt battery access, a 15-minute penalty lockout after four incorrect entries, and a stealth mode for silent operation. The safe is constructed with a 5/8-inch thick door, a handle-operated locking mechanism incorporating two 1-inch chrome-plated bolts, and two steel deadbolts to prevent door removal if hinges are compromised. It includes ball-bearing hinges for smooth operation and one internal anchor hole with hardware. Interior organization consists of one adjustable shelf and one key-locking drawer. The exterior dimensions are 23-5" H x 18-7/8" W x 18-7/8" D, with a total weight of 164 lbs, and it rests on four rubber feet, finished in a two-toned sage color.
