Each water heater pan is made of durable 25-mil-thick (20-gauge) aluminum that will not rust, ensuring it stands up to years of use. Choose from a variety of pan diameters to fit your current or future water heater (a 2-inch clearance around the diameter of the water heater pan is recommended). PVC- and CPVC-compatible drain connections are both available. In PVC models, the drain adapter fits over 1-inch and inside of 1-1/2-inch PVC pipe. In CPVC models, the drain adapter fits 1-inch CPVC pipe.
