Product Overview
The Lithonia Lighting 5 in. remodel housing features airtight construction and is IC/non-IC rated. A galvanized steel junction box includes push-in connectors for easy wiring. It is ideal for installation in 2 x 8 existing drywall ceiling or T-bar ceiling panel. It provides clip adjustment (up to 1-1/4 in.) on housing which allows for flush mounting.
- Air-tight aluminum housing with heavy-gauge galvanized steel raceway arm
- Remodel clips for installation in existing plaster, sheet rock or mechanical ceilings
- Rated for 90°C
- Suitable for ceilings up to 1-1/2 in. thick
- Recessed incandescent housing for 2x8 remodel construction
- Approved for direct burial in insulation and all ceiling and wiring types
- Socket clips to trim to ensure proper and consistent lamp position
- Ground wire provided
