This Minute Man Products 2473428 Eye Ground Anchor is constructed from steel that conforms to ASTM A-36 M1020 standards, featuring a 5/8 inch shaft diameter, 48 inch length, and a 1.5 inch weld-closed eyelet. Designed for securing a wide range of outdoor items, applications include small planes, vineyard trellises, storage sheds, tents, orchard and nursery trees, swing sets, clothes lines, fences, retaining walls, radio antennas, small windmills, floating docks, and pet restraints. It is also suitable for propane and oil tank anchoring systems. For optimal holding strength, the anchor must be installed to its full depth with the eyelet flush with the ground surface. Its holding capacity is rated for hard to medium density clay soils, with reduced strength in softer or sandy soil conditions.
