The No-Drill clamp for 1/2" glazing thickness is designed to secure fixed glass panels without drilling holes or cutting notches in the glass. It is manufactured from brass and finished in Polished Chrome providing a uniform surface appearance. This clamp is intended for wall mounting and is used with monolithic tempered glass. It supports a glazing thickness of 1/2" and does not require glass fabrication. Two nylon tipped set screws are used to tighten and hold the glass in place within the clamp. Clear gaskets are included to help cushion the glass during installation. Mounting screws are provided for wall, ceiling, or floor attachment. Silicone must be used for reinforcement along all glass edges where clamps are installed. The clamp features an overall height of 2-3/8", an overall width of 1-3/16", and an overall depth of 53/64", with an inner depth of 9/16" to accommodate the glass. Mounting hole spacing measures 1-3/8" center to center, with a hole center offset from the edge of 1/2" and a side hole offset from the front edge of 9/16" on both upper and lower positions. Installation steps are 1) Confirm glass type and thickness meet requirements, 2) Mark clamp mounting locations on the wall or floor, 3) Drill pilot holes for the mounting screws, 4) Secure the clamp base using the supplied screws, 5) Insert clear gaskets into the clamp, 6) Position the glass panel into the clamp, 7) Tighten the nylon tipped set screws evenly, 8) Apply silicone sealant along all glass edges where clamps are used, and 9) Allow sealant to cure before use.
