The Oatey 130 Series Shower Drain, model SD4PVCADJ, is a PVC shower drain designed for installation in tile or marble shower bases that require a shower pan liner. This drain features a 2-inch PVC body intended for solvent weld connection to a 2-inch Schedule 40 DWV pipe. It incorporates a reversible clamping collar that provides approximately 1 inch of height adjustment and includes double weep holes and channels to ensure efficient drainage from the pan liner. The threaded strainer barrel allows for additional height adjustment to accommodate various tile thicknesses. Installation requires the use of approved PVC primer and solvent cement. The drain assembly includes a metal cover/strainer, typically designed to fit a 4-1/4 inch diameter opening.
