Washer Box with Hammer Arrestor. Single Lever Valve with Hammer Arresters Installed. 1/2 in. Sweat Connections Or 1/2 in. MIP Connections, Hammer Arrester Is ASSE 1010 Certified and IAPMO Listed. Prevent water hammer noise with these devices, which absorb the shock and vibrations caused when water flow through a fixture is suddenly stopped. Install them near the fixture's water supply shut-off valve.
