The Orbit Industries 41050 is a 1-gang electrical device ring, commonly known as a mud ring or plaster ring, designed for use with 4-inch square electrical boxes. Constructed from 16 gauge drawn galvanized sheet steel, this device ring is raised 1/2 inch to allow wiring devices, such as switches and receptacles, to sit flush with finished wall surfaces. It provides 3.8 cubic inches of capacity and helps compensate for box misalignment on framing members. The product is UL Listed for Canada and the US, and is RoHS compliant.
