The Orbit Industries 4RB-MKO-EXT is a 4-inch octagon electrical box extension ring, designed to increase the available wiring space in existing 4-inch octagon electrical boxes. Constructed from 16 gauge galvanized welded sheet steel, this extension ring provides 15.5 cubic inches of additional capacity. It features four knockouts: two are sized for 1/2 inch conduit, and two are multi-knockouts (MKO) compatible with both 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch conduit. The unit measures 4 inches in width, 4 inches in height, and 1-1/2 inches in depth. This extension ring is UL 514A and UL (Canada and US) approved, and is RoHS compliant, ensuring it meets safety and environmental standards for electrical installations in walls and ceilings, particularly for light fixtures and other electrical devices.
