The Polished Chrome Cardiff Series Top or Bottom Mount Hinge is a pivot-style hinge designed for use with 5/16" to 3/8" tempered safety glass in shower enclosures. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge is intended for residential or hotel shower applications. The top and bottom mount design allows for a larger visible glass area and reduces the number of cut-outs required compared to standard side-mount hinges. This hinge can be mounted to the floor and ceiling or floor and header, and it is compatible with the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not reach the ceiling. The hinge features a self-centering mechanism that engages when the door is within 15 degrees of the closed position and utilizes four springs for retention. It supports a maximum door weight of 100 lbs and a maximum door width of 31" when using two hinges. The hinge allows for full rotation and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections. Included with the hinge are gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions. The finish is polished chrome.
