Product Overview
The Polished Chrome Cologne 044 Series Wall Mount Offset Back Plate Hinge is designed for mounting shower doors to walls in residential or hotel bathroom enclosures. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge features beveled edges and radius corners for a clean appearance. It is compatible with 3/8" to 1/2" tempered safety glass. The hinge allows for 90-degree inward and 90-degree outward swinging. It includes a self-centering mechanism that engages when the door is within 15 degrees of the closed position. The hinge includes a reversible pivot pin, with the 90-degree side activated by default. When using two hinges with 3/8" glass, the maximum door width is 34" and the weight capacity is 100 lbs. With 1/2" glass, two hinges support a maximum door width of 32" and 100 lbs. Using three hinges increases the capacity to 130 lbs for both glass thicknesses. The hinge requires a specific cut-out for installation and includes gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions. The maximum clamping screw torque is 60 lbf.in.
