The Polished Chrome Cologne 180 Series 180 degree Glass-to-Glass Hinge is a component for mounting glass shower doors. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge is designed for 180 degree glass-to-glass applications in niche, bathtub, and custom shower enclosures. It features beveled edges and radius corners for a clean appearance. The hinge accommodates 3/8" to 1/2" tempered safety glass. It provides a self-centering closing mechanism when within 15 degrees of the closed position and allows for 90 degree swings in both directions. The hinge includes a reversible pivot pin, with one side marked at 90 degrees and the other at 85 degrees, allowing for a 5 degree tighter closure into the shower interior. When using two hinges, the assembly supports a maximum door weight of 110 lbs and a maximum door width of 36". With three hinges, the capacity increases to 140 lbs with a maximum door width of 36". The hinge has a width of 2-1/4" for both the door and sidelite portions. It requires a maximum clamping screw torque of 60 lbf.in.
