Product Overview
The Fixed Panel Shower Door Deep U-Channel is designed for securing fixed panels of glass in frameless shower installations. Constructed from aluminum with a black finish, this deep profile channel provides a stable mounting point for glass panels to the wall, ceiling, or floor. It features a 95" length and is compatible with 1/2" monolithic tempered glass. The channel has a 3/4" height and a 43/64" width, with an inner opening width of 33/64" and a 1/2" glazing pocket width. This deep pocket design assists in securing the glass, and it can be used alone or in combination with regular depth U-channels. For installation, the glass is wet glazed with clear silicone to secure it within the channel. End caps are available to conceal the ends of the channel for a finished appearance.
