The Sloan EBF-11-A (manufacturer part number 3315111) is a solenoid valve module assembly designed for use in sensor-operated, battery-powered electronic faucets. It controls water flow by opening and closing the valve, allowing water to pass through when activated and shutting off flow when not in use. This assembly is specifically compatible with Sloan EBF-85 and EBF-187 series faucets, which are often part of the Optima series. The module operates on 6 Volt DC power and includes a solenoid enclosure, solenoid body, and filter cap. Some versions may also include a battery tray for four "C" batteries.
